What does Bb do to cats and kittens?

For the most part, ‘cat flu’ caused by Bb is very similar to other types of ‘cat flu’. Sick cats may have any or all of the following problems: sneezing, snuffling, nasal discharge, sore eyes and sometimes coughing.

Discomfort may last a few days or a few weeks. Unlike most cases of ‘cat flu’, ‘flu’ caused by Bb can lead to sudden death in young kittens. During the stress of kittening, the female cat can often shed Bb, putting her kittens at risk of disease.
